Identify unknown Clamps?
These came in a box of parts. Possibility they dont they are not even used on a bike. Anyone have an idea?

Trouser clips were originally intended to be a backup device for professional racers. If your suspenders failed at speed, the clips would keep you from losing your trousers altogether. Imagine the time lost riding back up the Col de Manse to retrieve one's lost trousers. It wasn't until after the advent of Lycra that trouser clips were seen as a way to keep your trousers from catching in the drivetrain.

Bowyangs (or boyangs). I learned this term from an Australian lady in Rothenburg, Germany many years ago when I had a pair just like the OP's with me on tour. The originals are generally strings or laces tied around the ankles of long pants to keep insects and and other critters out.

Occasionally, I'll find a slide rule at a flea market for a dollar or two and I'll buy it. I was using a slide rule at work a couple years ago and an engineer said I was using "black magic", because I could get the answer faster than his calculator.
