This is a stupid question, but I’m going to ask anyway because it’s always bothered me.
WTF do the numbers on the back of a Seatpost actually mean? I’ve got a 370mm post with numbers from 10-200(clearly mm). But they don’t make any sense. The 10 marking looks to be about 100mm below the rails so I’m not sure what they actually tell me.
Any of you geniuses know?

I've always just used them to help set height for that specific post, and never bothered to learn if there is a more objective measure. Like you measure it once from BB to saddle, and then know that it is between X and Y marking on the post. So if you remove it for whatever reason later on, then you can just set it based on post marking instead of having to measure the full saddle height.

I suppose it would depend on the specific individuals. I know a few "elderly" folks who would handle their bikes just fine at 28+mph. I also know some younger folks who would not.

Well had my worst ride today in the history of rides. Set out to do high cadence work and was planning on pyramids. Thought process, the power would have to increase incrementally but I wanted to try and keep the cadence high while doing it, and I also wasn’t too concerned about the power numbers. Left my house for the colonial parkway to do the actual pyramid work. It’s a fairly straight road, low traffic, no stop lights or stop signs. Got on the parkway and wind was stupid. It wasn’t blowing really hard, but it just wasn’t consistent and It was unpredictable. Everytime I would get in my groove a gust would hit me and it was like running into a wall, my cadence would go to **** and I would have to shift all over the place trying to get back into the groove. I got really pissed off at one point and turned around expecting a tail wind. Nope. Still the same wind. Gave up on the pyramid and opted for tempo intervals again focus on high cadence. Wind continued to get worse and just messed me up. It was a waist. Too hard and too easy to be of any value.
Most frustrating part, flags I passed were limp. It was like my own personal head wind monster.
