Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Same deal with law school these days. My last job was at a law firm where a lot of people were in purgatory after finishing school but failing the bar exam, sometimes 2-3 times. They were being paid as "legally trained" doc reviewers, so they were making ~$25 an hour. That's not terrible, but then you remember they're more than 150k in debt and might not ever actually get to practice law if they can't get a license.

That would be stressful.

Come on, the runners need your support. You could be the difference between one finishing or quitting.

P.S. Don't forget to make a sign.

Pin spanners are also handy as placeholders, when wrapping handlebars.

Not even Bud Light, but Bud Light Lime. Oof. I can't recall how I had the misfortune of trying one, but I did. Never again. I think that I would rather drink from the river than drink BLL on the river.

So we're heading over to the Maya Riviera tomorrow, to celebrate our 26th. An adults only place this time. Nothing ruins a vacation like screachers in the pool, or anywhere else. We've decided to go by bus this time, since neither of us wants to participate in a five hour drive across the peninsula. We've also decided to catch the local bus here in Tixkokob, instead of driving to Merida for the express. Total travel time will be pretty much equivalent. Air conditioned comfort without the behind the wheel stress. Apart from the colorful plastic wristbands, we're looking forward to it.

I'm jelly. Have fun!

People hate on all inclusive resorts for some reason, but they're some of the best BANG FOR BUCK in vacations available.
