FWIW, some guy indicated on his blog that "the TCR can pretty well fit any tyre up to 32mm between the stays, as there are no brake calipers to foul." I haven't seen one IRL to confirm, but it's worth looking in to. I wonder about seat tube clearance, though, as he only mentioned the stay width.
Edit: also, some owners on a forum mentions that it'll take 28s easily and probably 30s.

There is country music piped into my workplace. I hate country music. To make matters worse it seems like it's the same dozen songs over and over. (and over)

My wife and I ride to a local cafe occasionally and you can't really hear the piped-in music except in the bathroom but it's a lite-country religious station. If I try to decipher the lyrics, I get all confused.

The funny thing is: I have some friends who really want to go to Maui & climb Haleakala. I look at the potential for flying to Maui, organizing bikes and sitting around for a week waiting for favorable weather and then maybe not even getting the ride in and I think to myself, "No thanks, not worth the logistical hassle, I can do all kinds of gnarly climbs here in California".
So it seems like we each tolerate a hassle factor depending on our motivation for getting the thing done that sits at the other end of the hassle.

It was by chance that we were able to get to Hawaii this year, so I pulled the ride together within a couple of weeks.
Next year, we'll be in Maui for a wedding, so I'll rent a bike again and ride up Halaekala.

My new favorite thing is cycling on vacation. Fortunately Mr. H prefers lazy vacations whereas I prefer active ones. So it works out well- he can sleep in and chill out in the morning while I ride. Then we can get brunch or lunch a do a little tourist thing in the afternoon and evening. Its perfect for us, he'd just as soon stick to drivable locations for the foreseeable future. We usually stay in timeshares, so we have a kitchen, and driving makes it easy to bring food/drink and multiple bikes.
Tahoe is up next, then in the spring Carmel + somewhere bike-friendly on the central coast (some friends are thinking Los Olivos for cycling and wine tasting_. Then maybe Colorado or Park City mountain biking next July, associated with a CE meeting in Denver. We already have Tahoe booked for Labor Day week 2018, more road and mountain biking.
Hassle for you perhaps, but it all sounds delicious to me.

What do you mean by "good?"
I have New Hope Brooklyn coming up the Sunday before Labor Day. It's about 95 miles, so I need to get in at least one long ride each of the next two weekends. Am thinking about riding out the SRT early Saturday morning to valley Forge and then doing a loop in Chester County through Nantmeal and Warwick areas and eventually to the Kimberton WF then back to through P'Ville to the trail back home. Alternative if I get motivated is to drive up to Bull's Island and meander around Hunterdon and Warren Counties.
