Show me your silver vintage bikes.
I have been working on a 1976 Motobecane Nomade in my spare time and created a thread HERE with the details of what I have been doing to it.
I am stuck on a bar tape/saddle color combo and would love to see some of your silver bikes so that it might trigger a combo that I think would look good on the bike I am working on.
My bike is Silver with red lettering and originally came with red tape a black saddle and red cables, I went with "Titanium" colored cables with a braided look to them so that they would sort of blend in a little with the frame but I am getting close to being done with the bike and tape and a saddle are next.
So lets see those silver bikes guys, I need to get some ideas.
Edited in a photo of the bike I am working with, this is the day I brought it home.

1977 Centurion Pro-Tour. I've since replaced the saddle with a new honey B17.
edit: But I'm still the same terrible photographer.

1975 Motobecane Grand Jubile. It's actually a sort of champagne color.

Silver frame with red lettering? It's a no-brainer.

This one's a no-brainer; I just tried to match the tape to the blue head tube. Some other stuff has changed since this picture, but I'm sticking with the tape.

Bicycle Repair Man !!!
Chrome is silver coloured isn't it ?
Seems like the red bar tape goes well with silver / chrome, light grey bikes really well.
Basic black is always a good bet...
