Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I have very limited neck mobility and that tall, long head tube is what it takes to make a bike fit me and still be able to see beyond a few feet in front of me. That is the main reason I opted for a custom frame. Dimensionally, it is similar to a size 56 Roubaix with a size 58 head.

The color in natural light is more of a turquoise, similar to a Yeti MTB color.

No worries man, she's a beauty! Kinda weird that you took off the dork disc but kept the rear reflector, or is that how you got it?

I took the photo minutes after picking it up from the bike shop. I've already removed it, hopefully I don't get in trouble because it's the law to have one.

I had the Mondonico out today, the locals were drooling over it. Today's ride was to the shop to get some parts on order to get this bike updated and ready for some fun miles ( I got it last fall right before the snow).

This is my Focus Cayo 2009.

Bought it used for cheap, and have put on a few extra bits to see how much performance I can get out of it for a low cost.

CF frame, repainted with plastidip for protection (removable). Ultegra 6700L groupset, shifts good so I don´t really have any reason for upgrading as it is.
Lights front and rear, I use them during the day as well for safety. 420mm alu bars with Lizardskin bartape.

Weighs in at 7,3 kg without pedals, and is really nice to ride. I have about 1000$ dollars in the bike right now.

Thought I would post an aluminum Fuji that's almost 10 years old. Late last summer I switched to the Continental 4000s tires and am really happy with them (over a set of Panaracers). I picked up the bike as a bare frame and laugh at the weight difference in how much the bike weighs now - 17.9 lbs (without the pedals) to then when Fuji marketed the bike at 15.5 lbs... Just can't cut the weight enough to match the original specs; hum, perhaps it's the scale and not the difference in components...

Regardless of the weight; I am very happy riding the bike around central, southern Penna along the Susquehanna River.

Fuji Sportif 1.3 C - 2014

I'm just getting back into biking, so I'm happy with an intro, until I lose enough weight to make buying a nicer bike worthwhile.

Left to right: 2013 Felt Z85, 1998 Mondonico, 2009 Kona Dew Drop. (Had I been thinking, the Felt would be in the middle, 'cause that bike is 'the Bad' ... in the best way)

That's a nice bike, full Tiagra components, carbon fork, disc brakes. You really get a lot of bike with Fuji.

still debating about ditching the red bar tape for black, at the least i'm gonna swap the tape for lizard skins. 2013 Synapse Carbon 4. needs a few little things, K-edge for the garmin, hood covers are a little worn and should be replaced, want a new wedge pack. weather hasn't cooperated to much with me so I have only a few miles (like 3 or so) on it since I got it. sposed to warm up next week though so I'm optimistic.

Currently in gravel mode. Use Rubino 28mm when in road mode and drop the frame bag.

Hello everyone. I am new to this forum and I do apologize if I am posting this in the wrong place but I need some assistance. I just bought a Fuji Roubaix 1.5 2014 model for 799. I was also really looking to get the Fuji Sportif 2.3 2015. I am really stuck and do not know what to do. I am strongly debating on returning the Roubaix and getting the Sportif but I am not sure that is the right choice. This is my first bike in almost 14 years and I am just starting to get in to cycling. Can I please have some help from some people that know more about this then I do. I would really appreciate it. Thanks.

Why were you interested in the Sportif over the Roubaix? Both have a relaxed geometry, the Sportif more so than the Roubaix, but not too far off.

The Roubaix is about 5lbs lighter, is a 10spd (as opposed to the Sportif's 8spd), and has better components. Personally, I'd say you did just fine with the Roubaix.
