Water bottle holder
Any recommendations for a water bottle holder for a bike without the 2holes for the screws for one? Any help would be greatly appreciated

The frame isn't a great place, really. I like handlebar mounts.
for me, more the issue is the bottle. I just use the shop container. I like the look of alloy cages but they're not very flexible. Far better are the wrap around plastic/carbon ones - they'll hold anything from a can to a bottle of wine.

Depending on your bike's frame material, most good LBS's can drill busses to attach a water bottle cage if you choose traditional frame placement.

It didn't like the fact the handlebars narrow and with just tape under the clamp worked lose, I found some rubber I hadn't used from a bike bell and put that round the handlebars 1st and it seems to be holding fine.
The Topeak was the alternative I looked at and with hindsight maybe slightly better.

You can use rivnuts. I highly recommend the type that requires a notch. Of course you have to have a notch cutter. It can be done with a ratvtail file. Tools at Browns' tools. Google aviation tools.

Its hard to find one cuz of the way the fram is shaped. Its for my sons bike. Its a mongoose mountain bike with shocks in the front and in the middle part of the frame. So its kinda thick also. I would post pictures but I’m not allowed to on here yet due to the newbieness of my account.

The ones that come to mind for me are the Two Fish Quick cage adapter Twofish Quick Cage Adapter | Jenson USA or the SKS bottle cage adapters...there are two, one that will go around any round tube including seat/handle bar, the other, another take on the Two Fish idea. https://www.greggscycles.com/product...128/?rb_br=441

Not racing.
I've used this on a Schwinn Suburban. A bit tricky to install but very solid afterward:
Minoura Lightweight Extra Bottle Cage Holder
And this on an aluminum framed bike with huge tubing. Much easier install, but I had to add a bit of bar tape underneath to prevent it rotating out of position.

I got this one and like it. It stays put better than I'd suspected it might, even over some mildly uneven pavement. It grips the bottle lightly, though, so may not be good for off-roading.

I have used these and are very happy with them: DMR Hinge Clamps. Just like down tube cable stop clamps for converting older bikes to brifters, these clamps essentially allow you to add screw bosses anywhere on the main tubes of your frame. Use them on my '85 Miyaya Two Ten to add a second bottle cage.

Since I'm in Delaware and you're in Minnesota, I gather that you doubt me. If not, it's a long drive for a $35.00 procedure that took 15 minutes. I had it done on a steel bike by the shop owner. The shop was called Wooden Wheels and it closed a few months ago. The mechanics started a new shop under the same name doing only service and repair. I would think that they still do it.

Cut some old tube for shim, then use some zip ties. If you properly tighten any generic water bottle cage onto those shims, it should hold just fine.
If you are a cyclist who has no zip ties, GET THEM!
EDIT: The wider zip ties are better and more reliable for attaching things to your bike. Skinnier zip ties degrade fairly quickly in comparison.

Another cage yo might want to look at is the Zephal cage and mount. Bottles & Cages ? Zéfal USA I haven't used these but Zephal is a solid company and I suspect they are worth the price.
