Color Coordination Help

I'm trying to workout some color coordination with my '71-ish Moto Grand Touring.

White Bike, trying to add red accents for some color, but don't want to go overboard it.

The bike currently:

I'm definitely getting rid of the gum break hoods. Not only do they not really clean up anymore, but they're a little sticky, which is unpleasant. I'm thinking of going for white hoods and brake cables (currently a silvery color).

What about Red Toe straps?

I'm not sure how much longer the the Original Ideale saddle will last and am looking to replace it with a Brooks. Apparently you can get those in Red leather....would that be too much? Or would that be just the right amount of coordination to bring it all together?

Thanks for your thoughts.

Black saddle, black bar tape. Silver (titanium Jagwire is my favorite) or black cables. New gum hoods. That is how I’d build it.

If looking to add red, straps would look good red IMO. Add red finishing tape to black bar tape. Maybe red bar plugs and cable crimps.

I don’t like to go over board with bright colors and overpower a frame. Just enough to lend to it.

I'd re-route the brake cables behind the bars and call it a day.

The slightly off colour hbar tape will darken.
Worry about the new look at the end of the season. Nothing wrong with black & white & chrome.
Spend more time keeping the drivetrain clean than the refinement of accoutrements.
Best tires for best ride.

edit: nice bike and rack. Don't sweat the small sheet. Ride on!
