Here is one that I just finished. Pretty easy cleanup. The original seat was gone but everything else was there. At some time, this bike was sold in Beverly Hills. It also had a sticker from Chico, CA on it. The Carlton factory sticker is missing. This one needs a new home.

I noticed that most of the SCs here were '70s English, so I thought I'd add in an American (and by american, i mean Japanese) SC to show the diversity.

We could pull your kids in trailers. Do you have one? I have one.
When my daughters were little, I would put them in the trailer so I could get my ride in. I felt guilty, mostly because I've developed a very good habit of taking on guilt unnecessarily. No, it's a Huret. I trash-picked my bike, and this was the set that came on mine. I still have them. I would use them, if they worked, but the lateral travel isn't sufficient.
You wanna try my Campy Gran Turismo derailleur? It's a scream. As in, it's nuclear-bomb-proof, but it doesn't shift so well. It also weighs about a pound!

Here's a new acquisition and one I've never seen before: a 1972 Super Course Carlton-built mixte frameset. Interestingly, the Raleigh catalog from that year only lists a men's model. Also of interest is that the BB threading is standard English, not Raleigh 26tpi:

The finish is in great shape in some places, not so great in others (it looks like it was left laying on damp grass on its left side for a few years), and it's a 21" frame, which is my wife's size (though she already does have a Raleigh mixte).

Interesting head lugs on the mixte. It looks like the same lugs as a Super Grand Prix, or a Sprite? Maybe there were no mixte Nervex Pros to use on the build?,,,,BD

I just got this done this weekend. It's got most all of my more desirable parts (Cinelli bars, Sugino Mighty, etc) in an effort to make more saleable. S3X wheelset from BD on a '73 Capella-lugged SC.

Interesting to see the blue primer peeking out from underneath the paint scratches on the top tube. Noglider's Super Course has the same color primer and it always seemed a bit of a curiosity to me.
