Here is my "tripilized" Trek 700. 53-42-30 chainrings. Long cage on the SR RD. Victory triple FD. Pic is showing 13-23 freewheel, but now has 13-28, could go >28t with more chain length.

Thanks! I've been wondering how that looks. I think the Soma long cage looks almost like it belongs on a Nuovo Record RD, but I've been thinking about moving my triplizer and long cage from my De Rosa to my Gios and the Gios has an SR.

Alas, the frame for my 3x10 downtube-shifted Campy is not worthy of the expense. Good thing I had yet to find the wheels... I'll slum it to DA and look for another platform.

That's very odd. It let me add one to my cart just now. @jonwvara, any idea what's going on?
If anyone needs a chainring before get the web site problem dealt with (assuming that there is a problem), send an email to me at jon@redclovercomponents.com and we'll work around the web site.
Edit: I just went to the site and was able to add a 144 triplizer to a shopping cart and go to checkout as normally. Reynolds 531, want to try it again? Maybe there's some sort of problem on your end?

I fairly recently ordered a Red Clover triplizer. I initially had problems ordering because my adblocker was somehow blocking the system, so you might look at that. I installed the triplizer on my '79 Gemini and it works very well. The big ring is just a 47, so the Nuovo Record rear derailleur has enough chain wrap for all combinations. This gives me the gear range I want, but there is a lot of redundancy - the entire middle ring, actually.
I also wanted to try drilling and tapping the Campagnolo crank spider to directly bolt on a 74mm bcd ring. It took me a year or two to find the mounting bolts. I finally tried this recently on my Crescent Pepita and it works great.
I would like to do this conversion on a couple of other 70s Campagnolo bikes, but now I find the biggest challenge is getting the right spindles. The Campagnolo X3 spindles are fairly rare and/or expensive, and work only with thin cups. Stronglight triple spindles are more reasonable and easier to find, but also won't work with thick Campagnolo cups, and still require some searching.

If you don't mind a non-puristical--indeed, perhaps heretical--solution, modern JIS Shimano cartridge bottom brackets work very well with triplized Campy cranks. The modern JIS taper is very close to the that of the old Campagnolo spindles. Most of the triples that I've built up have worked well with a 115mm cartridge bb. It's usually easy enough to add a mm or so of spacer to the drive side if the chainline needs to be tweaked slightly.
I should have mentioned that most of my bikes (even the Campagnolo equipped ones) are French threaded, which limits my options for modern replacements. The information on your website is very helpful, and the VO bb would be a good option if I could stand the sight of those modern cups! Compass offers a very nice but expensive SKF.

As another aside, Bob Freeman does Campy conversions with custom made 30 + 31t inner rings with spindles. Not cheap but well done.

Yes. It looks fine to me. I've already got the triplizer I needed from you (pictured on my De Rosa on the first page of this thread) so I didn't go through to purchase, but it looks like it would have let me.

Yes, my experience as well. I think it was an ad-blocker problem.

One of my 2 bikes with a triple, Chorus with Record OR rear derailleur and a modern front derailleur.
Shifts perfect with 8 speed Ergopower.
I took the picture last Saturday during a 200 km ride. It was raining, so the bike is very dirty.
