I would have bought that in a heartbeat as well. I have a hard time turning down quality vintage MTBs when they pop up.

I had one like that. Great bike. That color combo went for two years; iirc 86-87 or 87-88. One year had a rear U-brake (like the one I had); you got the good one.

Sweet Stumpy! Headset service is pretty straightforward. If you need to replace it due to pits in the bearing race, I like the Tange Levin for bang for the buck.

should I b able to get seals from my local dealer? They were reefed way to tight. Do I need a complete assembly? It looks similar to a canecreek seal...
