This must be what coaches feel like when guys use trainer road programs.

I refuse to believe that next week is Thanksgiving, my daughter is 21 months old, I'm almost 30, my second child is coming in just 5 months, or that I've somehow been at this job for 7.5 months now.

There's absolutely no way any of that nonsense is true.

Never used it. I'm always an advocate of the old fashioned way. Teachers (i.e. coaches).

But I'm admittedly biased. Just got done teaching week one of a course for 25 people online.

The older you get, the faster time flies. It feels really weird to say "I'm 63" especially since I never thought I would make it to 30. I guess all the time since then is gravy.

For those in the market, the DC Rainmaker PM Guide is out:

https://www.dcrainmaker.com/2017/11/...7-edition.html

Also, Vector 3's have been delayed until January (which are getting solid reviews).

I can't remember which thread it was in (possibly this one), but it there was some discussion on the ease of setting up CX races. looks like one that was supposed to happen locally this weekend had to be cancelled due to low reg/high cost of the associated venue. Too bad, I was looking forward to going (even though it sounds tough!)

Which one was cancelled? Some of the issues in NE might be that there are too many races. Supercross is this weekend and that's not too far from Boston/the rest of NE, I bet they're pulling a ton of racers since it's part of the Vittoria series too.

community, from what the email they released said it was because of they'd have to pay a park rental fee and for employees for the days they set up plus race day, and with the low reg it was turning into a big loss. don't blame them, and I think the issue is people like me who like to wait things out and register last minute, doesn't help them at all.

I would imagine that if there are big events (like last weekend with NoHo CX) that it does draw away quite a bit, I did one last weekend on the cape and it definitely wasn't as big as some other events I've done due to the more prominent event.

Yeah. that all makes sense. NE and the Northeast has so much cross racing if it's not coordinated well they can get diluted. There's a race (my old club's) outside Albany NY this weekend too. I don't know what led to that being on the same weekend as Supercross, but that's even closer! Not ideal at all.

Lol. I had the same thought, wondering if he got it from there or if it's just going around right now.

That's pretty cool. I comment a good bit but I've only sent one thing to Drew and it didn't make it (at least not that I saw, I haven't read every one).

The guy sitting next to me at lunch today ate his pizza crust first.

Who does that?

Yeah, I was kind of bummed by the 50% increase, but I may or may not still be subscribed in 1 year when it goes into effect with me.

This is the concert I went to last night. Super fun. All 3 headlining artists played different styles of music. The venue was incredible for sound and Visual fx. Been some good music playing in the SLC area recently. I also bought a ticket to go see Garreth Emery in Park city in a few weeks. There really is something to be said about experiencing music live. The feel of the bass and being surrounded by other people just vibing is awesome!

Junior, recent pizza eating picture, eating at home:

I'll often eat the tip of the pizza first, just because it's harder to control, then eat the crust to the tip (saving the best for last).

I was going to race a fellow bike racer's kart tomorrow but the race got canceled due to rain in forecast. We started checking weather 10 days out, it was like a bike race. They canceled today.

No "real" kart intro for me until next year.
