Omniums vs S75's
I currently have some silver om-nom's ( 170mm ) on my pista, and they are great.
I came across some beat up but functional sugino75's ( 165mm ) and was wondering if it would be worth swapping them over?
I don't have a BB for it, and upon searching apparently they require special BB's that get pretty expensive.
Wondering if I should swap to the suginos or stick with the omni's and then I'll sell off whichever I don't use.
I kinda feel the suginos fit the look of my bike better, but they are a bit more knicked up ( came off a well used NJS build, lots of shoe and strap rash ) But I don't wanna buy a $75 bottom bracket for them.
( also what would you say the resell value of them would be? $100? $75 and the same for the chainring zen 50t )

This might be hearsay, but I've always thought omnoms looked better.
And honest question, are that many people really strong enough to be able to tell the difference?

Fresh Garbage
A less expensive BB option for the 75 if you haven't seen it.

SG75s look better on your bike. Ive always thought Omniums looked better on aluminum or any modern looking frame. Thats my preference.

Sugino looks better than most things. The only time to go with SRAM is for their lovely brake levers and chains and cassettes!
The only thing one should double tap is a fine ass ; )

so I tossed on my 75's last night ( fit a bb i had laying around just fine, chain alignment is fine )
the 165 cranks felt a bit weak comapred to the 170's (but to be fair i've been riding quite a bit the last few days and put on a new rear tire that is a bit more commuter than racing )
between the two sizes, i'm unsure what to go with. I don't have an issue with pedal strike with the 170 omni's.
