Bourbon is a little sweet for me to drink straight up, but I love it in cocktails, coffee... I've been known to have a short (neat) pour of Woodford Reserve occasionally. Bulleit is good too. Maker's is a little sweet for me but the lady really likes it. We usually have some Jack Daniels on hand for mixing, although I know that it's technically not a bourbon.
Neat whiskeys, I'm a scotch drinker. Blended (Johnny W. Black or better), or single-origin Islay's: Laphroaig, Lagavulin, Ardbeg, the gnarlier the better! We keep one blended and one Islay on hand at all times in the cabinet.

You know that old saw about kissing a smoker being like kissing an ashtray? My wife says it's like kissing a peat bog once I've had some Laphroaig. Makes it all the more fun.

I tried Makers Mark and other mid/upper shelf stuff already. Yeah, its good, but worth the $30+ price tag? Not so sure.
I used to be a hardcore Jack drinker as I love the burnt maple taste. I still get a bottle every now and again.

Wild Turkey 101 is a good, cheap bourbon. It is my go to when I feel like having some bourbon and I prefer it over many upper shelf bourbons both for taste and price. Rittenhouse Rye Bottled in Bond is also a great rye that is cost effective.

I've had both the 101 and the 80 proof. Its decent, but not at the top of my list. Now if I'm gifted a bottle, it will get put to good use!

I just found Pizza Port's Swami's IPA at the Trader Joe's near me. Honestly, such a good IPA. Not too expensive to enjoy weekly, and it always seems to satisfy that craving for hops! Beer is super light in color, and the hops have that perfect blend of bitter and tropical.
I love exploring new whisk(e)ys, and I've recently been exploring the bottom shelf haha. I enjoyed Evan Williams way more than I thought I would, and the bottle of Wild Turkey 101 was gone in a flash. If you like scotch, my last bottle was Duncan Taylor 12 yr from total wine. Pretty decent, but I want to try the NAS bottle next to see if the 12 was worth the extra money.

What is your preferred adult beverage? Lately I've been loving Maker's Mark with ginger ale for hard liquor, and Thick White Freaks by Three Floyds is the current favorite beer. I just drank a bottle of 1998 J.L. Chave Hermitage Blanc that was amazing. I enjoy trying new booze and new beers, so pretty much anything you guys suggest will be tried, if I haven't had it before.

I got my fixin's and let me tell you the fixin's are good! I love my niblets so when I saw a soda version I just had to have it! It kind of is like a cream soda mixed with delicious sweet corn. I am planning on buying more because it is tasty and made in the U.S. and with Cane Sugar.

Right?!!!!! Though Corn syrup and oil and those super heavily processed corn products don't have any corn taste really and cane sugar just is better.
