PSA: Some of my friends got robbed at gunpoint on the Rio Hondo Bike Path.
Why was this post taken down? It served as a cautionary PSA for riders on the Rio Hondo Trail near Garvey and Rosemead.

I tried to get some more info on it but only came up with a R e * * i t thread. Nothing on media/crime sites.
I will never ride RHRT/LART again because of my previous gang experience with it. I am short-tempered and do Not back down so I just try to avoid criminals if possible.

I would NEVER ride my bike on the LART. I have worked near it (South Central / South LA including Long Beach area), driven over it a million times and I've seen the people who are entering and exiting at various bridges. No thank you.
