The thing about an all-rounder is that it's at home anywhere.
First of all, my bikes have to earn their keep. From last summer, leaving work to go on an outreach.
And it brings home the bacon. Photo from 2008.
It doesn't mind a little weather...
...or a little altitude...
...and it enjoys vacationing in the backwoods of Ontario Canada.
Just swap wheels or tires, fenders and whatever's hung on the rack, and it's ready for the next adventure.

Every time I see Bruce, and his bicycle/trailer combination, on a library mission it makes me smile, this is truly doing things right. That Trek is so well set up, and looks pretty good.

Rowan, it must be gratifying, owning a bike that has read The Snows of Kilimanjaro.

As at home on a dirt road as a paved one, Belle, my custom Zukas Cycles bike makes me smile wherever I take it.

It sounded like a zillion swarming buzzing bees at our house when the F1 races were being run. Attached are a couple of pictures I took of the fans and bike parking at the track on race day.

I was at the Watkins Glen Sports Car Grand Prix in 1965 when the hot cars were the Shelby Cobras and Jim Hall/Hill Chaparrels and I thought that was loud, but F1 is a whole 'nother level of intense! https://www.racingsportscars.com/phot...965-06-27.html
