Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

seat bag clip

I was trying to transfer my old seat bag from my GT to my new bike but the top part that goes on the saddle rails appears to not have enough space to do so. It's just a simple bit of 2 pieces of plastic that are screwed together and they sandwich the saddle rail. The saddle is too far forward. I've only got about half an inch of saddle rail to put anything on. Are most bags clipped on this way? I'm curious if anyone has any alternative bag suggestions.

Most bags use straps. Topeak is the only one I know of that does the clip. Fizik has a similar thing that clips into Fizik saddles.

I had the same problem with my old Topeak bag. I got a Transit one from Performance that straps on. Prett reasonable price.
