Good Rioja, paired with some righteous pulled pork, ribs & brisket. Classic pairing IMO.

A few new selections since my last post:

Four Roses Single Barrel - Bourbon
Elijah Craig 12 - Bourbon, one of the best bourbons under $30 a bottle
Innis & Gunn Bourbon Aged Stout - Limited Release and very tasty!
Sierra Nevada Blindfold Black IPA - Really good. About 1/2 way between a porter and an IPA.
Einstok Icelandic Toasted Porter

How did I not click on this thread until now?! I'm liking you guys more all the time!

Liquor tends to be rum and coke. Rum is usually Capt Morgan, in honor of the good Captain (Daniel Morgan, that is) the special reserve is nice and for drinking straight. After rum, any cream liquor is good, or Jager.

Wine is typically something white, usually something from a Michigan vineyard.

Really don't like beer, it all tastes the same; like beer. Can't stand the bitter hops flavor, but it's hard to find hops free beers. Give me a hard cider. Angry Orchard Cinnful Apple or Green Apple are my top picks at the grocery store but I'll take any local/microbrew cider on tap at a restaurant, haven't had a bad one yet!

A whole new list to sample. I love everything Innis & Gunn makes.

Since I'm in Portland this weekend it's only all the Rogue I can get my hands on.

Checked in at the Rogue distillery today for some IPA, cider, and an Oregasmic Ale that lived up to its name.
