Replacement fork for K2 MOD 4.0?

Never mind, all I was looking for was some suggestions on aftermarket road fork brands etc. Evidently I should look elsewhere for information.

1) I would like carbon legs but don't really want a carbon steerer.

2) RE rake/trail: I don't want the handling to be any "faster" than it is, so rake/trail matters.

Note:

I live in a rural area with nothing like a real (road) bike shop within hours, so "shopping" will be via internet.

More importantly, I know there are/have been some forks out there that are somewhat "unreliable" , so would appreciate suggestions re known good brands of replacement forks.

it's 1 1/8"

Any suggestions?

Thanks
OK, I take it back. Don't measure anything -- it's too difficult. Get a sturdy shipping crate with plenty of room for your fork plus padding. Pack it tightly with 50 quid notes (for protection in transit). Send it to me.

I will carefully measure your fork's offset and the other pertinent dimensions. I'll shop for a suitable replacement and report my findings to you. Then I'll properly dispose of your old fork. Standing by... HTH
