40 Years & Counting
Hi, I thought I'd drop in and see what's going on here.
40 years in the bike biz under my belt so I have pretty much seen & heard it all.
I hope to be able to offer some practical insights to questions that seem too often get too complicated of answers.

Let's see Gawd:....
. .
What's the best chain lube?
Does one need to stock up on rim brake spare parts? Because disc is the shizz!
Do carbon aero wheels make me faster? In general road riding @15mph? In cross-windy parts of my mountain descents?
Tubular or tubeless? Or, No one can really feel the difference.
How much sealant? Road, Mtn.
Best width / brand tire for highly variable forest service gravel roads? Need lowest rolling resistance to finish faster.
Off th peg? Or, Custom?
if you have been lurking long, you know the forum cycling gawds have diced and sliced these and other questions. .
Are expensive bikes for newbies ever a good value?
Are e-bikes bikes?
Fastest paint jobs? Or, nude / polished?
ShimaNo, SRAM or Campa?
Wave, nod or ignore others when pedaling outside? Roadies the biggest snobs?
How tight should my favorite pro team kit fit? I'm a big guy.
LBS or online to one's door?
Vintage is dangerous?
Upgrade? or Ride Up More Grades?
Your bike sucks!
and welcome, the more gawds the merrier.
but beware the Get off my Lawn, 50+ sub-forum.
