Chicago Bike Swap Alternatives?
With the sad news that the Chicago Bike Swap is not happening this year, and the St. Louis Bike Expo gone, does anyone else have suggestions where to head this winter for "big bicycle shows?" I'm interested in taking my niece with me to get her a (used) new bike; but my two big choices have sadly moved on.

Like you, I found this news highly disappointing. I was really looking forward to the show this year, and a chance to pick up some parts and gear for cheap. I considered running a CL ad appealing to local shops to run swap meet sales that weekend.
Or maybe drag all my excess bikes and parts out and hold my own "Winter swap meet" in my driveway/garage!
