Shimano 9 speed cassette, RD, FD, with Campy Daytona 3x front?

Will this work? If yes, what chain?
Thanks
Jim

Bikes: too many sparkly Italians, some sweet Americans and a couple interesting Japanese

I am not clear on "Campy Daytona 3x front", if referring to brake/shiftersthis may be tricky as I and others had trouble with later Campy RDs due to Daytona cable pull let alone Shimano RDs.

Proposal is Campy Daytona triple front crank/chainrings with everything else Shimano.

A separate question- will a Daytona triple chainring set mount on an early 2000 Dura Ace spider?

Any good 9-speed chain. I prefer KMC.

The outer rings on the Daytona cranks are 135mm BCD while Shimano is 130mm BCD. Ain't gonna work.

1. Not without changes. Shimano derailleurs through 10 cogs move 1.7mm per 1mm of cable pull while Campagnolo 9 speed levers expect 1.4mm or 1.5mm depending on vintage.

The OP isn’t asking about using Campy shifters, only a Campy crankset.
