My beautiful ***...
I was taking 2-3 laps through the local loop, feeling good and sticking with the paceline when someone swerves into our path and I grabbed my brakes and went to go around but the guy in front of me banked too far and his back wheel went into my front wheel and at 25mph my *** met the pavement.
I'm so stiff right now I can't even sit down and my right *** cheek is swollen... I can't even feel the underside of my ***. My *** used to feel so firm and now my right *** cheek is squishy like jelly...
Ok.. I had to remove the pic, too many people were losing their lunches...

At least you were wearing your helmet and you didn't bust your melon. And you didn't spend almost 4 hours! looking for a damn parking spot. [Sorry, had to vent. I'm still ****in' piss'd]

Butt bruises are not pretty! I've had them. I so sympathize with you. Don't be surprised if you get some swelling.

Not so sure about jur's comment. It might deter too many would be cyclists. First its the front, now it's the rear.

Actually, no road rash cept for a little tiny spot on my elbow. The bike seems to be fine, once again, the right ultegra shifter took most of the fall and I had to bend it straight again on the bar, seems to shift fine. That sucker is tough, been through 2 falls and 1 serious fall.
I wiped out I think back in july.

Sorry to hear the bad news. Glad you and the bike weren't hurt too badly.
Give yourself a day or two and you'll be as good as "new"???

Ouch! sounds painful dude. Stay off the bike for a while. Maybe you should switch to a recumbent. You can install a 5 point safety harness to keep yourself from falling off (but not falling over). And maybe a can of NOS.

Thanks everyone, yeah it was 7:30pm in prospect park.
Does anyone know how long healing takes for some sprained lower back muscles and ligaments? I have a hilly century in about 10 days...

Dooode, your accident rate tells me that you should maybe look into getting a recumbent trike?.... you might fall over less

depends how bad the sprains are, i guess. the good news is you'll probably heal quicker than any couch potato, if that's any comfort.
fwiw, the advice i picked up from being the catcher's mom for six years is to alternate heat and cold for periods of about 15 minutes each, rather than just doing one or the other. that's what the fanatically serious pitchers who are aiming at scholarship do, and it seems to work. of course, you don't pitch with your rear end, so ymmv.
