I find there's a lot of bluster, and I can't find much to back it up.
It's very slick, don't get me wrong, but I can't shake the feeling that in the end, they're just building the same kind of wheels as everyone else, for not much less money.

The issue I found with those R-SYS wheels was that adjusting spoke tension requires rotating the whole spoke. And every spoke I tried to adjust was seized at the hub. Given these spokes are supposed to work in compression as well as tension, the seizing is no surprise, since you couldn't have any backlash at the hub end, where the spoke is supposed to be able to rotate.
I've got a set of Mavics with the aluminum spokes, and they're no better; although the spokes don't rotate, the hugely oversized nipples which thread into the rim are all seized.
I give Mavic points for thinking outside the box, but they don't seem to think their ideas all the way through. And that freehub with the bushing is junk. Also, cartridge bearing hubs almost always suck because often sealing is second rate, and preload adjustment is rocking horse poo.
