"featuring leaders one of a kind and world famous geometry". world famous, what?
"now compatible with sram omniums and other name brand cranksets". werent they already compatible?

anyways, welds look nice - but are they filled down or just filled with bondo?

Not sure what Leader did but do you have a problem with Bianchi? Because they add filler into some of the concept welds.

World famous geometry because their top tubes are longer than the Great Wall. Not to mention, putting out slack rake forks with steep angle headtubes.

Leader is pretty well-known for their longish top tubes.

No, they weren't. Quite a few frames have clearance issues with Omniums and the chainstays on the 2011 are flattened to allow more crankset options than previous models.

They don't appear or feel so...

Here's a pic of a major weld on my tell all raw 727 frame with the same weld smoothing technique that the '11 725 has.

yea, im only considering this frame as an option if i can tuck that rear wheel in proper. i really dislike the idea of having a cutout that isnt even being used.

91Mf - I'm 5'11" and typically 58cm frames suit me but I went with a 55cm 725 and it's just right.

heres my concern: i generally ride bikes that are really tall but not long. my cdale crit is a 60cm st with a 56.5cm tt. my cadex is a 60cm st with a 57.5cm tt. both of them i ride with what this forum would say is 'too much seatpost.' the felt is a 57, i've never actually checked the geo but its good with lots of seatpost and a 120mm stem. am i going to have trouble fitting 'properly' on a leader? what im saying is everyone going to hate my rad leader with 9ft seatpost?

According to Leader, the geometry is the same for all their aluminum track frames (721, 725, 727). When I asked about the 721, I got an email that said the TT length is 58.5cm for a 58cm frame and 60.2cm for a 61cm frame. So you can base your decision on these numbers.

Its done! all my parts came in today! Ill post some pictures soon, im heading out to the mmr in 30min

btw scrod what is the clearance on the steel fork that you got with you 722ts? Does it clear 32c with a front brake? I have the carbon fork and 28c with a brake is a squeeze...

the origin of long leader geometry is just to get standover clearance while avoiding overlap. is this fame in their own minds?

That makes sense... maybe because toe overlap was never a problem for me even though it exists with some of my bikes that I never really cared.

My lady's got 25s on hers with a brake and there is plenty of clearance for a 32...maybe even a 35.
