Razors
dammit theyre expensive! What are you guys using? I've been using my same gillete 5 blade or whatever pro glide and its like 30 bucks for a pack of them....

I've considered the big bag o' cheap razors...like the plastic bic ones...they got some that are double blade...my face is suffering because my legs are taking precedence

I don't know. I know I'm not cutting my legs now, but I don't get a week before my blade is worn out and tugging...my hair is thick and coarse on my legs...I don't want to switch if I'm going to be cutting myself a lot...but I figure people have been shaving with worse for eons..

I don't remember which ones i have exactly, their disposable but are three bladed. I believe their Schick. Bought a five pack of them at Target for $8 and work very well. I get about 10, even 15 shaves out of each until it starts to tug. I also don't have very hairy legs so i probably get more life out of them than most.

Mach something or other, had it for several years. Blades last pretty well and it does a great job.

When I am being particularly cheap I use Schick Extreme 3 sensative w/vitamin E and aloe. I get them in an 8 pack...costs around $12. Best disposable I've used so far.

I don't shave my legs (sacrilege, I know) but double edged razors are pretty amazing when it comes to my face. 200 razors can cost $13, and I get less ingrown hairs/pimples/razor burn with them. As far as I can tell they shave just as close as any five bladed contraption out there.

I took the plunge and bought a nice double-edge razor a while back. I paid $8 for a pack of blades a year and a half ago... I still have about 3/4 of the pack left. The decision was made after I came to the conclusion that my hair is too course to fit in-between the blades of the newer 3 and 5 blade razors. Occasionally I'll look back at the fancy multi-blade razors and wonder if it would be worth it... but the price always deters me.
Honestly, the hardest part of shaving with a double-edge is over the kneecap. Other than that, life is good.

Holy crap, you guys are doing it the expensive way. I buy these cheapo twins for a $1.29 for 6 of them. They're not as good as something like a Mach3 or Schick Quattro, but they get the job done.
BTW, don't bother with womens' razors. The clearance is higher than with mens' (undoubtedly due to the fact that most of them are shaving peach fuzz) and you *never* get a decent shave.
Except when dealing with womens' razors which are specifically designed to not work, I can get a good shave with anything including old skool razor blades.
