I had thought they were old stock only. They are needed also for building wood filled rims, which I have, but don't have enough nipples for all of them. The DT 16mm nipples are possible but hard to work with.

One place has them but I’ll have to look for it. They are rare.

Wheel building. This project is a rolling classroom study. Hope to have them finished and on the bike in the next 2 weeks. The black spokes look cool, even my wife says so.

Okay, back on topic -- +10 on the black spokes, and the wheel build in general. Best way-back machine trip ever.
