Hmmmmm
I've been toying with the idea of getting a mountain bike to ride the trails during the colder months. My thinking is that if I'm in the woods, I'd probably be out of the wind. I was perusing CL looking for a bike and came across this. Too good to be not stolen?

That is one of many similar SCAM ads all over CL, do NOT respond to it, the bike isn't stolen, it doesn't exist.

But, Yes, get a mt. bike.
Depending on where you live, it's a good alternative to road riding in winter. Round these parts (Long Island, NY) we often get little to no snow, yet the ground freezes hard, so trail riding has perfect conditions. When it's 15-20-25 'ish degrees and windy, that's a tough road ride, yet beautiful mt. bike conditions. The woods shelter you from the wind, you're only doing 10-12 mph, you only need an hour, hour and half and you've got a good workout.
An No, do not buy a C-Dale Lefty, even if it's real. Proprietary fork and F wheel = PITA.

I live above you in Massachusetts and ride in the winter on the trails and it's a blast. Where I live it's big snowmobile country so they groom the trails when we get enough snow and studded tires are recommended.
