polymorphself how do you like those shifters? Spring loaded, dual ratcheting shifters- pretty cool- They almost feel clutched- you're just going against the spring tension in the lever.

my '87 paint is in pretty bad shape, has a bunch of overspray on it like someone painted a house and didn't move the bike, thinking about stripping and having it powder coated,
but first priority is to complete my 1980 Chrome Resto-Mod Build - I posted it in the Voyageur Thread - but here she is - new Tiagra 3x10 group, carbon bars with a 21,1 stem adapter, late model Ksyrium 700 wheel set, brooks c17, etc. this is intended to be my forever bike while I play with other bikes

Took it out for a spin this morning. Rides very very smoothly but handling doesn’t seem to suffer much, it doesn’t seem bogged down. I agree TheGoldenBoy it does feel shorter which I like. I’m experiencing the clips hitting the ground for the first time when my feet aren’t in so BB is obviously lower than I’m used to. Also some serious fender rattle to contend with it but I’ll work that out. Loving it!
