Anybody know what this is?
Simplex rear drop outs. 28mm seat tube and it says Peugeot but i think its a repaint. Weight was a hair over 24lbs. Got it cheap and it has campy crank, brakes, derailleurs, pedals and headset. Cinelli bars and stem. I have no idea what model and cant find a serial number.

I'm no expert, but those look like PX-10 Nervex lugs, but maybe a replacement fork. A semi-informed guess...

Honestly, this is what PX10's should have looked like when new. It's too bad the 1979/80 PX10s weren't as classy as this custom.
Is it just me, or is that a 1980's-era sloping crown Peugeot PSN-10 fork, with the Peugeot logo cast into the crown?

no logo in the crown. Also i think the serial number may have been welded over. This was donated to our coop and no one but me was interested.

Assuming that this is a pre-1975 PX10 frame, having braze-on mods, and with a later, sloping-crown fork.
It would be interesting to measure the frame angles.
Pre-1972 frame would be about 72 degrees, while post-1972 frame would be about 75 degrees (for both ST and HT).
1972 frame would have plain lugs.
What dropouts at the fork tips?

That is a nice Peugeot! What color is it? I am surprised to see that end up at a coop, on the other hand, if something happens to me, I hope that at least some of my bikes can be appreciated.

its brown but i am sure its a repaint, im goi g to put some 700cs on it. I've got a set with campy rims. Since little or nothing is original i think its a real nice blank canvas.

If that's a boom era px10 the cable routing was changed too, including stay braze on. I can't tell from the pic- 52telecaster are rear dropouts Simplex?
