Let's see your Brooks on your favorite steed!

I just got this Leather Brooks Swift Saddle and put it on my Gios Professional to match my Campy Components. Let's see yours!

Very comfy!

It's like having a new bike! Bought the Brooks saddle for $50 with the box and trimmings.

The brown leather looks like it belongs with the Gios. Nice choice.

You're going to get a LOT of photos on this thread! My bikes wear Brooks, or they wear nothing at all.

The above isn't strictly true, I do have some Regals and a Turbo on a bike or two, but I'd change them out on rides over 30 miles. I also really want to try a Berthoud at some point...I tried an Anatomica and thought it was a steaming pile of dung.

Here's a mattress-style Brooks on my '38 Raleigh GA.
(It is the correct saddle for this bike, and pretty comfortable at that. )

Original Brooks Professional on my '78 Paramount. A bit discolored but in great condition.

You can darken the cinelli cork with shoe polish. I've done it, and the color seems to hold up. (The C wing stills shows through, however.)

Edit: found a pic of mine - same tape, darkened PLUS the Brooks saddle.

"discolored" holds a somewhat negative connotation for me. That thing is beautiful Dane.

I've since sold the bike and saddle, but my favorite was the Brooks on my Masi. It was heavily modified, supposedly by Bittini. But I have no idea if that last part is true. Regardless, it had a beautiful, rounded shape, like a modern saddle; he had shortened the rails to give it a lower profile.

Not necessarily my favorite bike, but dearly beloved. My bikes are like children -- I love them all in their own way. ... Oh, it's a B17 honey.
