My size. Damn shame.

Vintage ultra lightweight roadbike frame. Needs tires, tubes, cables, a chain and a good bath wouldn't hurt either. Front rim has a slight bend to it, will probably resolve once spokes are properly adjusted. One side of the front forks looks like it could use a little attention too. Rolls free though, it's like pushing the wind! This is the real deal. This bike might weight 10 lbs, MAYBE!

Well if it weighs about 10lbs than I would suspect a lot of internal rust due to submersion.
Best, Ben

I am surprised that you did not think this one was weird, could be cycling-related depending on the type of cutout in the saddle.
Talk about low-hanging fruit.

Better than steel?

Can you get a DUI riding on a "chronic-moly" frame?

"I want it to figureout how to build the most affordable ebike. I did but was not happy with performance."

This looks like something I'd have wanted to build around age 13, it has the same quality as my R/C endeavors. I'm sure he learned a lot. Like matching the power to the voltage to the motor speed to the gearing!

It was a fairly decent late-80s or early-90s Raleigh MTB before the project started, it even has a spoke holder which speaks to the touring bike contribution to MTB development. But I have no idea if the frame is sound or if it would still would be after the motor was taken off.

A friend recently dropped one off and asked me to try to sell. That kit came with a wheel and was mounted on the other side. Pretty good hack job there.

Looks like this is becoming a trend in marketing certain products. Who'd ever suspect CL's Bike Parts?

This guy telling me the bike is pristine and rides like new in 1975. I hope the tire wasn’t that close to the down tube in 1975.

Still, with the leather saddle and the Cyclone, I want this for the parts.
