Agreed!!! Yes, Maxxis DTH tires, I love the way they look on it. I'm putting on some new Tektro canti's now.

Moving along. Seat and post, pedals, shifters, brakes, grips, most cable and housings done. Waiting on new chain rings to complete.

Really shaping up nicely. Looks like you're almost finished.
But you know what happens when you finish restoring one?
In a few weeks or months you'll find a new one to start fixing up. I've been through the cycle a dozen or more times, and the addiction progresses rapidly. Soon, you will have a whole house or garage full of fixed-up bikes.

We seem have similar taste in bikes.
You: 1992 Trek 970 w/ DTH tires
Me: 1992 Trek 950 w/ DTH tires
You: 2000 Orange Fisher
Me: 1991 Gary Fisher Paragon in Signal Orange
Your bike is looking nice, but your dérailleur housings look long (maybe you are not done). I finally finished what was left on my 950 last night since my friend wants to take his gravel bike out this weekend. I just posted a photo in the drop bar conversion thread. If you want to a closer look on how I routed the cables, let me know.

No its not done yet the chain is off since I pulled the chainrings so the rear derailleurs position is not where it should be. I haven't purchased the 2000 Fisher yet still deciding but there is also a 95 Gary Fisher Cronus I have an eye on.. I will take a look at yours.. Thx for the input..
