CLB Brake hoods NOS
Hello Guys,
Found these at the LBS yesterday. I know they are RARE, Velobase does not have them listed. They are complete, still soft and supple.

Not common, but not so rare either, as they do pop up on ebay, NOS, regularly. The cable adjusters that go on top of the hoods are actually harder to find.
The rarer CLB hoods are the ones for their aero style levers.....

Not a big fan of the white variety, but I wouldn't mind finding a pair of vintage non-aero CLB brown/gum rubber hoods in nice condition.

I have the levers to go with those. Similar to MAFAC, but even more boxy. The boxy shape is unusual for the period but is really comfortable. More like modern levers.

I do too, and they’re on my bike. My hoods are original, but they’re getting pretty dry after almost 50 years. Their outer surface was powdery when I got the bike, and they look a lot better after a good scrub, but some nice NOS ones in that caramel brown color would sure be nice.
