I wondered when you were gonna wander over to this one!!!
Sorry to read about the knee, buddy. Hopefully you'll be on the mend by springtime.

Champagne-proof barend plug.
One of my relatives served in a bicycle squad during World War II. He told me about 40 years ago, but I don't remember exactly, but they were carrying some ruthless heavy gear on bicycle. A large wooden crate was one of them. Plus, weapon, trigger helmet, backpack etc, etc. This is the picture that came to my mind...

Thanks, ultrarider7. Nice shot from the bridge. What Vintage is your Bianchi, anyway?
Here's my Good Morning shot for today:
This one, like yesterday's shot, is not my bike. It's a shot from the Lake Pepin 3-Speed Tour.

Cool photo! My Bianchi is a 2019. Love the bike, anxious to get back on the road. Getting a little break, I'm going out to participate in the Solvang, CA event on March 14th. I'm renting a bike out there rather than transport mine.

Thanks! I got so lucky with the light and shadow contrasts in this photo! But how did I get the shot? I held the camera at about thigh-level, pointed it in the general direction of the rear derailleur and pressed the shutter release button. The result was a matter of luck and little else
I wanted a little more color pop and added it in post-production, but the interplay of shadow/sunlight was captured naturally.

I've seen other examples you've done from that angle - all great, indicate more than just luck.
This one with the shadow is really cool.

A super low end Raleigh rigid mountain bike I just acquired for peanuts last week. Intended to flip but rides so smoothly and effortlessly I'm going to keep for awhile as a winter beater. Not a classic but definitely old enough to be vintage.

^^^^ Very nice! A wide open aperture gives the narrow depth-of-field to isolate the main subject from the background. In this case, intentional or not, DoF was perfect! And hey, the bike is sort of pretty too...
