I did 16 miles on mine and my arms/shoulders were killing me a couple miles in... my butt did ok after I switched from the SLR to the Arione.

The handling is great.

But the TET is still my favorite. I need more miles on this FTP.

Would it be sacrilegious to put compacts and hoods on this?

ehh, not forrealz...the bottom bracket on these things are ********ly high, combine that with 165 cranks and your seet is gonna be further from the ground than say a road bike with 175 arms, for still being the same distance from seat to pedals.

This is the best pic i got of my s-works, its a size smaller frame than what i should be on (i like shorter tt's), the seatpost isn't really that high...

This is not a nashbar, but I thought it was worth looking at and I wasn't willing to put it in the Jackass Thread.

I personally think thats awesome. Ya, you could have found something better to use, like a steel frame with lots of fender and rack mounts, but regardless, ride on!

And thats a 2010, aka a 2009 with a new paintjob, improved chainstays, and new seatmast.

It's weird 'coz my 2009 Trashbar FTP has the new seat clamp but it looks like everyone else got the old one. Even the FTP I bought for parts had the older clamp (but it had the new revised curvy chainstay).

Just bought my black omnoms last night, should be here in about a week. I'm gonna hold off on black bmx chain and PC/holdfasts for a while, I'm just gonna run a parts bin chain and my spd-sl's for the time being to get it running, then catch up on bills and get some money saved in the bank before I buy anything else. Then, its landshark time!

Oh, and by the by, incase you haven't noticed, this thread now has more pages than the track bike picture thread, and we're just one kind of track bike...fgss we're coming for you!

I finally have mine all together. Waiting on MKS GR-9s and new grips to have it all dialed in, but so far I love this bike. I'll take some photos tomorrow on my commute to work.

It's actually a rebranded Fuji Track Comp, not the Track Pro.

Is the FTC the old FTP?

Or, what are the difference between the FTC and older FTP?

Crap...yeah, you're right. I always forget that the older style FTP frame became the Track Comp.

If he got the bike at the Bike's Direct prices it really wasn't that good of a deal since most of the people who bought an FTP frame on this thread spent about half of what they are charging for the Motobecane frame. Granted without the fork.

Their complete bike is a pretty solid deal, IMO.

Btw I would totally trade my '09 FTP for a MTT. I think the MTT looks cooler. Like a Leader or a Bianchi. So cred.

I agree that the complete bike is a good deal. BD is the way to go 85% of the time. I disagree on the aesthetic points. The 09 FTP's top tube is just gorgeous.

$349 for the Motobecane TT - frame, fork, headset and binder bolt
VS.
$275 for my FTP - $179 frame (free shipping), $59 for Reynolds Ouzo Carbon fork - ebay, $37 Cane Creek 40 series headset

So I saved $75 and I don't have to buy a nice seatpost
