I know! I actually broke my tire lever off in that ****ing gatorskin (the rest of mine were at the gfs) and had to walk it to a shop... who also broke a lever... then put it on like that. He didn't charge me so I didn't say anything

Updates to the Wabi Lightning and VISP
New Flite 1990 saddle and Nitto 626 seatpost for the Wabi and Deda RS-01 70mm stem for the VISP. I the Flite on my Soma Rush, so I got another one for the Wabi. The white trim on the Deda stem looks great with all the white decals on the VISP.

how do you like your visp? I've heard complaints about the quality. Any from you?

I like the way it handles and it's really stiff, but the ride is harsh on rough pavement. I have not had any quality issues. Good solid if not pretty welds, good frame alignment, threads, paint. About the only issue I had was that a 27.2mm seatpost was too loose, and I needed a 27.4mm to keep it from slipping down when I rode it. Of course, it's really heavy compared to a better frame with butted tubing and the fork has a steel steerer tube. Weight as shown is 19 lbs, which is about a pound heavier than my Soma Rush, which is a steel frameset.

Current setup.
Red bar tape and road lever. Plus a view of "scenic" Cooperstown, NY.
Oh yea, and a better rack. This one can support the weight of a 130 pound person.

I like the brown saddle/grips/straps combo. Same goes for the fork/cranks/stem.
Sharp.
Sharp.

Coming back from the super market. First ride brakeless; Not too bad. Excuse the crappy cell phone picture.
