Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? maybe I should skip this step and post my bike directly in the jackass thread, where it will undoubtedly end up

It's obnoxious, but I'm not sure it's jackass. We don't usually put each others bikes in the jackass thread.

The super negative stem and risers make absolutely no sense though. You could be running a 0° stem and flat bars and your bars would be in nearly the exact same position.

1. Roaden. It's double-past tense!

2. negative stem + risers criticism: maybe that's what he had lying around? My fg is f'ing yellow and purple. "oh well." That's what I could get my hands on and afford to get the frame built up. I'll fix it someday but for now I'm going to scoot around looking less than optimal.

If you ever need to carry a box on your handlebars, it makes so much sense.

Got some Cinelli track drops, and I had to put a temporary saddle on, cause the 1980's Brook's one I had, has finally bitten the dust.
