LeMond had faded from peoples memory and is using this to get some attention. It is actually quite pitiful.

Will the accusations ever die? I am not up on whether this drug was even ban during the 7 wins or what the mystery is that surrounds it. If it was not banned then it should not matter. Same I believe is when you have athletes that don't take a single supplement to those who take something as tame as amino acids and vitamins.
I lifted weights from time I was in 7th grade until about 3 years ago. I took amino's in the early 80's when they were big then creatine in the ninety's. It was legal, it was available at most health food stores. So if EPO was the same, why don't they just let it drop?
I assume it was banned for use by the cycling world? If so, I stand corrected, if not, hopefully people will leave LA alone on this issue and those who attack him in the professional world, well, maybe they should have taken it too and won a few TDF's!

The best part of that is it is an article about what Lemond said, and the picture is of Armstrong.

Knowing the French sports daily L'Equipe they most likely call LeMond for a interview and brought up the subject. Both are Armstrong haters.
