On another bike forum, someone had a mint, basically unridden, late 70’s/early 80’s full Campy Tom Ritchey road bike that was given to him.
Not that any of the bikes in question here measure up to that piece of history, but what would you say if someone removed all the markings on that bike?
Aside from the dropouts, it is just a very nice older road bike.

I ride a vintage Peugeot bike with racing stripes orange and yellow. With all Camy super record set. I find the modern all black bikes with back group sets ugly. It just is bad looking I like a colorful bike it makes me smile.

On my Diamondback, I lost count of then umber of logo's on it, easily 20 or more. But I figure a cheap bright yellow bike is supposed to look outrageous.

I don't mind logos if they are tasteful or from a good builder. Especially on my Phil Wood Apple VeloXS bike I bought it for the logos (partially it is also a great frame) However I am fine with a less logo'd bike or something sans logos.
Too all the people who posted their Titanium bikes MOAR PHOTOS (and correct photos) A photo of the non-drive side as the only picture is like showing a photo of just someone's upper back, ain't nobody really want to see that unless there are also photos of everything up front and down below. I especially want to see more of that Omnomnom those are awesome little cargo bikes.

I don’t wear logod apparel. I figure if I have to pay to advertise for them rather than vice versa, then let someone else do it. Every moving piece of transportation comes with its manufacture’s name, so I don’t worry about it.

Many years ago when I built my first frame Grant Petersen had written a comment about signature features on a frame that make it unmistakably a certain builders frame, and after the logos have worn off or the bike has been repainted for the third time, that feature marks the frame and can always be identified. My frames have no logos and feature certain things that unmistakably mark the frame as one of mine. Amen.

If I ever get a really nice, high dollar bike, I'll remove all the logos and replace them with Roadmaster logos so nobody will want to steal it.

Take off my Serotta decal, I take off your face. My BD enormous "Motobecane" logo I covered up with silly stickers.

Not bike related. I read a funny story in Longboard mag a number of years ago where someone ordered a new board and had the foam airbrushed to give a yellowing tint and have brown discolored areas. The pic of it made it look like an old beater.
It wasn’t done to prevent theft but to keep his wife from knowing he bought a new board.

I took the logos off of my high dollar bike. Now it looks like any old steel frame bike. I might find some old huffy stickers for it.

As noted above, people who disfigure their bikes to fool thieves looking for high-zoot bikes are living in a dream world. The overwhelming majority of bike thieves don't care what bike they get or what it looks like since they know that they can sell it on the street for twenty-five or thirty bucks for a fix (not a fixie).
