I'm feeling great, thank you.

I'm feeling great, thank you.

Despite the dire predictions of the medical world of decreasing lung function and imminent death in two or three years from:

Supposed idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis
Likely aspirational pulmonary fibrosis
dendriform pulmonary ossification
pulmonary hypertension (not related to regular hypertension)
and a variety of other crap,

I seem to be doing just the opposite - my lungs have improved, my lung test scores are better and they are considering me to be a "unique" case.

At almost 80yo, I just finished the steepest Hills I can find on my mountain bike without even breathing hard. I swam many laps, walked a couple of miles, did 30 pushups, 20 body dips, a 2 minute full plank, 5 pullups, etc.

Keep on pushing, pulling, dipping, planking, walking, biking, swimming to maximize the length of your lung's breathing and heart's ticking

Expressing pessimistic views can be the BEST INCENTIVE for a patient to disprove the doctor's prognostication.

I saw that article on my own 65 - 100+ forum. I have not had a cold, fever, cough or other "illness" for many, many years. While I have some "conditions", they are not something one catches and gets over.
