Cinelli FG Bikes....
im new to FGs and wanted to know what the general feeling towards Cinelli FGs was....I love the MASH and was leaning toward that frame...what do you guys think? Thanks

The new 2011 Mash looks sweet. The older ones are also legit.
I do agree that you should at least test ride a fixed gear bicycle... maybe find a friend that'll let you take a couple rides. If you have the money, go for it. Make sure you do adequate research if you do decide to sink a crap load of money into this bike.

my buddy has a FG Surley and I have rode a few FGs in my time...I have a road bike now, but I dont wanna commute or play around on it...so I was thinkin FG or at least Single Speed...what about the other Cinelli frames?

the geometry on the mash frame is dumb for use primarily off the track. only the size xl is close to sensible geometry.

well what other italian companies make good FG frames besides Bianchi, Pinarello, De Rosa, etc??
Anyone know anything about Volume Bikes? they have two FG frames, the Cutter, and the Thrasher...I remember them from BMX...can anyone shed light?

Not sure why this persists when the majority of Mash frames are seen on the street... And it's also an amazing track bike. The super tight wooden velodrome I ride mine on is a blast with the Mash.
