Cycling cap brims that stay up

Does anyone have recommendations for a summer weight (non-cotton) cycling cap whose brim stays up when flipped? Currently using a Giro Peloton tap it does not fit the bill...no pun intended. Thx.

I have one from Hincapie sports that is made out of the same material as their jersey and the bill stays flipped up.

Pace Sportswear cycling caps are my favorite and the brim stays where you put it. I like the synthetic/wicking type. Pace Sportswear

Oh, those look pretty great.

Thanks for this thread, I've also been in the market for caps like this. I have a Giro which is great for the summer, but the brim never stays put.

The issue that I have, is not the construction of the cap (ie. Giro Peloton), but that for my shaped head and/or where I wear the helmet, you can't flip it all the way up where you want to, as the lid hits the front of the helmet before getting in the fully 'locked' position. It might stay there for a few minutes, but take a look straight down at the road, and the wind knocks the lid back down. If I rode without a helmet, I'm pretty sure there'd be no issue with the cap lid staying up.

if you're not gonna use the bill, there are other head coverings you can use instead of a cap

I tried out one of the Pace caps today and was pleased with the brim! It's definitely more rigid than the brim on my Giro cap, despite still being a cooler mesh material. It stayed put for the ~1hr commute home! Hopefully repeated washes won't break down the brim too much and it will stay adequately rigid.

I wanted to order a Hincapie cap to compare, but they were asking for too much shipping for one cap, so I only tried the Pace.

Took your advice and got this sweet lid. Had it for almost a month and it's going strong. Brim stays up! Just hoping the corners of the brim can handle my daily abuse and weekly washings. Thanks!
