Queen Anne to Mercer
All. Anyone in Seattle have a good route from Queen Anne to Mercer island? Just moved to the area and want to take a ride out there next weekend.

I really love Lake Washington Boulevard. Your most direct route is probably south through downtown and down Beacon. You can instead ride to Eastlake, follow the Loop route until the I90 trail, and there you go. This will be longer and involve more climbing, but it's a pleasant ride, good scenery, less traffic. The bridge itself is fun.

Here's the map of a friend's ride on Strava - he lives in QA by Seattle Center, it's not very detailed, but should give you the main idea. He took the Eastlake way up to the Burke Gilman trail. You could also go over Capitol or First Hills, but that's more urban. I'd recommend going though the Arboretum. LWB is the part right by the lake. If you wanted to go to Mercer Island, you'd take I-90 and should see signs for that turnoff along LWB.
