Dug out the sadly neglected 930 and took it out just because I finally got a proper tire bag . Within a half-mile I realised that it wasn't a comfortable as it used to be (or as I had thought it was) and took it back to the house for some adjustments. Ended up with a shorter stem, actually back to my baseline 80mm stem for a 48x51 c-c frame. Still needs some tweaking, but much better. Can my body have changed that much since I last rode this one last fall?

about 99% at least... not sure about the REAL design stickers(?).
the crankset really pulls the thing together nicely. the blue is quite gewd too.
you've got some nice bikes Ed.
hopefully finishing my caad10 in the next week or so.

I'm considering spider rings or praxis rings...I just need to take some time off from buying bike things. I've spent a large chunk of change lately and I'm starting to get the look when packages arrive.
I want the real design stickers off the wheels too, but it proved harder than it should be. I think there's a thin layer of clear coat over them. When I pick at them, they want to flake off as opposed to peel off.
Thanks for the compliments, gentlemen! I'm loving this bike.

Well after much debate, I made the deal and traded a bike for some wheels to complete my 1988 Cannondale SR500 Team Crest. Here it is with some new Mavic Ksyrium Elites. Probably should have taken the blue Garmin case off.

Its ok sometimes you realize hanging onto a bike because its rare isnt that great of a reason, I got way to into the the building of the bikes and started slacking off on the rides. It should be about the rides, and thats the change I plan to make. Hey if you want it though...

plan on getting out of the garage and out on the open road way more this fall....its just been hard here, since the summer weather has been atrocious...many triple digit degree weather days
