Ancheer folding bike hub size

Has anyone tried swapping out the hub on an Ancheer folding ebike? Is it the PF30 size hub? I want to try and get it down to 30mm and put a Bafang mid crank drive in it. Anyone have experience with this?

Thanks,

Paul

An Ancheer bike isn't really worth putting money into. Ride it into the ground and recycle what you can and trash the rest. Save up money y for a decent e-bike .

A Press Fit 30 refers to a bottom bracket not a hub.

Here is some info on Hubs:

Sorry I meant to say bottom bracket instead of hub. Just wondering if anyone has noticed if the bottom bracket on the Ancheer is the PF30 size or not?
Thanks,

Paul

Can't tell from the pictures, because the crank hides the BB. You might remove the crank arm and check, but I'd bet it was a 68mm which would accommodate a BBS02. Unless you love the frame or need a folder, I would sell it and get a used bike for conversion.

Ancheer is a throwaway bike. As you were advised, dont waste much money on it.

Battery placement is difficult on DIY folders. One positive about the Ancheer is the battery in the frame, but it's only 36V and maybe 10AH. A BBS02 needs 48V to run although you could get a 36V 250W BBS02/01.

Folders weren't designed to go at BBS02 speeds, in my opinion. Upright seating position. Limited gearing options with the small wheels, Less stability,
