We've got a ranter!

https://milwaukee.craigslist.org/bik...153865867.html

"Crappy Bike Flipper Junk on East Side

What sad bikes this dude Mark is pushing. Classic bike flipper bikes. This guy is definitely not a mechanic. "Tuned up and ready to ride" is synonymous with "needs lots of work." Look at the wheels on his bikes, the inner tubes aren't even straight. His idea of a tuneup is hosing a bike off with water. This guy is a joke.

Expect any bike you buy from this used car salesman to need a full service tuneup from a real mechanic."

I bought my 716 from him. Nice enough guy, and while I think his stuff is a tad bit overpriced I'd buy from him again if he had something I really wanted. Maybe he doesn't do a meticulous overhaul, but I rode mine for a couple hundred miles with no issues, and when I took everything apart there were no surprises.

I like how the steering isn't linked, that should lead to fun times. I think a ball joint on the inside fork blades with a tie rod would solve that, though.
I like that he thought to swap the front wheels and pedals to give the whole thing a visual balance.

Someone ask gugie to pair together two cheapie bikes, and not to link the steering. We'll call it the 'get along' bike.

It's a racing bike. Where the two riders are always tied for last.

what might work is just fix the front ends straight and you steer by whomever is pedaling faster. that might actually be fun.

Let the tortured souls of the dead rest.

Old bicycles - $1,234 (Verona, ND)

https://www.facebook.com/marketplace...8389747304340/

ISO......anyone who would be interested in collecting old bikes to repair or use for parts......they have been outside in my dad’s old building for years.....they need to go because the building is falling down .....don’t know how many or what kind.....just thought maybe there is someone out here that would like to salvage or rebuild.....could possibly deliver to the Fargo area......or if you know of a place that would take them let me know.....thanks!

Saw that today. Never bought from him as he is a bit overpriced for the market, but I'll admit "Eastside Guy" has a lot of nice iron pass through his hands.

I wonder if the reverse forks are to allow one side to follow or caster if there's only one rider? If so, its likely worse with two riders than with one.

This is actually an entirely respectable MTB at maybe too high a price for Exage components but the description is something else. who knew that the ride quality of steel was because "aircraft absorb a lot of shock when flying"?

https://seattle.craigslist.org/see/b...161390514.html

1995 Motiv Kodiak Exage components thumb shifters $900 when New! - $250 (kent)

If you are looking for a Great used bike....this is the one. For riders 5'3"-5'8" tall. Motiv bikes built since the Millennium have become inferior bicycles they are made of aluminum, have rapid shifters, and gearing components are not robust and Motiv Bikes built in the 90's are high quality they have Thumb shifters which are becoming more popular because they require no adjustments and are precise. Bike frame is made of Cromoly Steel and gears components work smoothly. The Metallurgy on this bike frame is that it absorbs all the shock. 4140 steel chromoly tubing is the little brother to aircraft tubing and aircraft absorbs a ton of air shock when flying. This metal will bend before it breaks, unlike Aluminum which will break before it bends, the bike was designed in the 90's when Almost everything was built "Like a Rock", "Ram Tuff" and "Quality Job 1". Planned obsoletion rates designed to maximize profits became popular in the late 90's and that's why new bikes are not as tuff as they use to be.

Nope! You and I both know that's not what the slot is for. I'd say the owner has a prostate the size of a Texas ruby red grapefruit, if he's a man.

The fork looks wrong, like the legs don't follow the same bend.

Two kids bikes connected

At least it will keep those kids ‘inline’.
This comment is for the 2 kids bikes that was welded together with metal beams and painted yellow.
Stupid IPad mini.
