KHS bikes are fine and dandy. True Temper tubing, good looking bike. A good deal for 150.00. (if those shifters stick a bit, that's totally normal for Shimano STI shifters of that age, you just spray something like GT88 or penetrating oil in there and it softens the hardened grease, good to go.)

I think that is a lot of bike for 150. Shimano 105 is good stuff. As is the True Temper tubeset. 9 speed and dual pivot brakes. All Good.

Circa 1999 appears correct. MSRP would have been around $800 US. The handlebar looks like a possible replacement, as the size appears too big for the frame size. Crankset looks like it may have some wear issues. Still, at that price it would appear to be a very good deal, providing there are no surprises. It's definitely worth a visit, in-person inspection and test ride.

Run your fingers under the top tube and down tubes just behind the head tube and feel for a slight bulge which indicates a possible front end collision. The rims appear to match but the hubs don't so I would be a little suspicious. And its always a good idea to make sure the seat post and stem are free to adjust. Good Luck.
