Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Just finished building it yesterday. Rode today for the first time, it ripped! Have a pair of Vittoria Rubino' tires on the way.

I actually like the gold chain / seat. : ) Something different and attention to detail.

Haha thanks! It's my first bike in 10+ years. Trying to keep it looking clean and minimal as possible while still practical for my commute. I know it's no bike pr0n, but I love my ride. Already doing some planning for bike #2 ...

Haha this will be my everyday commuter, long distance bike, recovery and training bike. The Brooks is for comfort and the aerobars are for more hand position, I'm racing time trials this year and I'm liking the aero position.

I used to commute with aerobars when I lived in PHX. 18 miles each way, straight and flat as can be.
