I am on tour all this month. Therefore I will not be posting my mileage. But I may chime in once and awhile, All positive. So, best wishes that everyone does, or gets close to their monthly goal.
As I like to eat when I'm on the road (cause I'm burning calories right?), my goal will be to stay below 200lbs. Currently made the 196 make.
All the best gang.

5/3 - 11 miles
5/4 - 8 miles
5/10 - 11 miles
Total - 30 miles
Goal - 300 miles
Had to hustle to get a ride in before the rain gets here.
I'm struggling. The weather has been crap, my weight loss has stalled or gone backwards (my fault) and I'm having a hard time finding motivation the past few days. I should have rode yesterday but made an excuse.
That said, my average MPH today was the fastest on my normal lunch ride route for the year so far, so I guess there's improvement happening.

Need to start to incease the miles just in time for the rain storms to come! Hopefully we can get a few shorter rides in this week and a longer one or 2 next weekend. The weather forecast looks terrible.

Champion of the Low End
Goal 250 miles, 63 miles per week (I have a lot of catching up to do)
5/5 — 20.4 — Gravel and dirt trail with GIANT puddles, then a very windy ride along the Lake Michigan shore, more puddles, overall a horrible ride)
5/6 — 34.3 — Race the Wabash fun ride. It was fun but I am out of shape and was pretty slow as a result.
5/16 — 32.7 — FINALLY, a beautiful day for an unhurried, regular-ass gravel ride. AAAAHHHHHH.
5/18 — 40.2 — A ride on the Panhandle Pathway on a beautiful day and a spontaneous gravel detour with heavy wind gusts
5/18 — 4.2 — A foolhardy attempt to ride a fairly technical and not-yet-groomed singletrack trail. Fell twice and skinned my knee
5/23 — 12.9 — Awesome gravel and singletrack group ride while I was in Michigan for training. Wish it was twice as long.
5/27 — 17.0 — Gravel ride before Memorial Day Weekend party
5/29 — 28.9 — Got in a longer ride, a random mix of pavement and gravel, picked up one Strava achievement, hard this early in the season
MTD — 190.6

53 so far this month. I have developed a saddle sore. 15-20 MPH winds predicted for the next week.
A little bit of trainer time during the winter has made me stronger earlier in the season than any time in the last 20 years, but, boy, the wind is demoralizing!
